Motivation Monday ~ Celebrating Your Achievments

Happy Monday! Can you believe it is already April? It is fascinating how quickly time flies! With April comes change in season and changes on our bodies. We are ready to detoxify and shed the weight we held onto during the cold months. We feel more energized as the days get longer and warmer.

Change is an interesting concept because so many of us think of change negatively but most of the time change is a good thing. Without change we couldn’t achieve our goals. Each goal we set out to accomplish is done through small changes leading us to small achievements throughout our journey to success. As we travel down this path, it is easy to neglect the many small steps that seem trivial and insignificant. But this thinking is the opposite of the truth. These small changes are what bring big results! Get excited, be proud and celebrate these achievements!

It can be hard to be thrilled about the little stuff in the moment because there are so many other things distracting you. As humans we tend to focus on the bad: What is going wrong? What haven’t I done yet? Why am I behind? How did someone else do it? Ultimately, it is not about how quickly it gets done or how far you have to go. Goals and dreams are ever-morphing as we live our lives and this journey will be life-long. What once was your “ultimate” goal, will feel like nothing when you get there because your focus will be set on something new to go after. Does it mean it isn’t worth recognizing anymore? Absolutely not! Jump up and down, tell your friends and celebrate each amazing moment in life! Life is about the journey not the end result. Smile and have fun as you go and celebrate each milestone as if it were the last because without it, you would never succeed in what you set out to do.

I would like to celebrate something with all of you! 🙂 This past Saturday marked Get Fit For It’s 5th year in business. It has not been the easiest of a ride these past few years but I can tell you one thing for sure, it was all worth it! Like anything in life, there were bad days and great days. If I could, the one thing I would go back and tell 2012 self would be to relax and know that your dream comes true. It is hard not to compare your success with others in this industry or only focus on certain numbers to determine your success. But in reality if passion and hard work are there, everything else will fall into place. I have learned this over and over again in different ways. I am extremely grateful for everything I have encountered, the good, the bad and the ugly. With each I learned so much about myself and business. My mother always told me I was an experimental learner, I guess mom is always right 😉

Because I have lived and breathed GFFI for the last 5 years, 4/1/2017 doesn’t seem too special but when I think back to where I was when I started and how the company as a whole has changed how I have changed, I am excited for this moment and the years to come! I believe in GFFI & I can’t wait to travel down the path which will lead me to my 10th year celebration! Celebrate with me! Raise your water glass to another great year of small changes leading us in the direction of our success. I have all of you to thank for your help and support along the way. Something like this doesn’t happen over night or with just one person. It is the amazing community that has developed. I look forward to celebrating again with you all cheering to all of our successes! Let’s do it #ChallengeAccepted!

Thank you,

Kacie
